The Andrew Jackson Tigers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Raines, falling 40-8. Andrew Jackson was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-0.
King-William Johnson and Anthony Jones certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Johnson threw for 100 yards and a touchdown on only six passes, while Jones picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jones 's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.
Raines had a senior duo take command as Mark Miller rushed for 102 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries and Ty'ren Randolph rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Amari Mcintyre did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 91 receiving yards.
Andrew Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Raines, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Westside is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
