While South Fork didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Hayfork Timberjacks with a sharp 25-0 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Cubs in their matchups with the Timberjacks: they've now won four in a row.

South Fork's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Hayfork, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

South Fork wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Fortuna on the 28th. As for Hayfork, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-8 loss against Los Molinos on the 27th.
