The Southern Choctaw Indians can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They breezed by Millry on the road to the tune of 50-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Southern Choctaw has posted yet this season.
Leading Southern Choctaw to victory were Marcionna Young and Haidynn Hill. Young scored 16 points along with seven rebounds, while Hill scored 16 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Keri Mcgee, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Southern Choctaw and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Millry, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Southern Choctaw won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Marengo at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Marengo is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. As for Millry, they will head out on the road to face off against Choctaw County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
