Dionte Jones was on fire: he rushed for 194 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Dural Thompson was another major influence, as he rushed for 87 yards and ran in a TD.
When it comes to explaining why Pebblebrook lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dwight Phillips. Despite the final result, he rushed for 213 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Walter Willis jr was in the mix as well, providing Pebblebrook with two touchdowns.
East Coweta's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Pebblebrook, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
East Coweta will head out on the road to face off against North Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
