It was another big night for Jason Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Stephen Miller, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Admiral Farragut scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. Petersburg Catholic 77-39 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Admiral Farragut as they're now sitting on three straight.
Admiral Farragut had a senior duo take command as Vuk Lazarevic dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds and Danielius Gelumbauskas dropped a triple-double on 22 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. That's the first time this season that Gelumbauskas posted eight or more assists. Marco De Carvalho was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Winthrop College Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Admiral Farragut, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league.
