The Estrella Foothills Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 30 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Thunderbird 79-26 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Estrella Foothills who now have six in a row.
Estrella Foothills found their leader in underclassman Nemo Sidhu, who scored 22 points along with three steals. Sidhu hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Alina Bowden, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and seven steals.
Estrella Foothills' victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Thunderbird, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Estrella Foothills will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Goldwater at 3:00 p.m. Goldwater will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while Estrella Foothills is ranked tenth). Thunderbird and Mountain View will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
