Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Cheney RVT, who are still winless after their fourth game. They were dealt a 41-14 loss at the hands of Norwich RVT on Thursday. Cheney RVT has not had much luck with Norwich RVT recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Cheney RVT had strong showings from Janilla Hanson, who scored no points along with 16 rebounds and five steals, and Trinity Hazel, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Hazel scored a full 78.6% of Cheney RVT's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Cheney RVT struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
The victory got Harvard Ellis Tech back to even at 2-2. As for Cheney RVT, they bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
