West Central recap November 5, 2013
South Putnam extended the longest winning streak in West Central this week by beating West Washington, 26-13. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Eagles.
Cascade fell to Speedway 39-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zac Butler was a bright spot for the Cadets, as he ran for 51 yards and caught 3 passes for 12 yards in the defeat.
Cascade's dynamic duo of Sawyer Donovan and AJ Parsons proved to be unstoppable against the Sparkplugs, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Donovan threw for 67 yards and Parsons had 30 yards receiving. Zach Batts helped Cascade's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 11 yards.
Trevor Ellis was a passing and rushing force as Monrovia lost to Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter.
Greencastle's Tyler Scott and Seth Brown have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Scott has thrown for 2,236 yards this season, while Brown has 65 catches for 1,020 yards. South Putnam's Lucas Lorian leads the league in rushing yards with 1,793.
Troy Burgess' team led the league in points allowed with 13.
