The Adamson Leopards's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 49-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sunset. Adamson has not had much luck with Sunset recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Sunset can attribute much of their success to Jorge Castillo, who scored 14 points. Diego Aguillon was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Adamson dropped their record down to 3-16 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sunset, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-17.
Adamson will take on Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Adamson in Texas (Hillcrest is ranked 518th, while Adamson is ranked 1313th). As for Sunset, they will head out on the road to challenge Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Wilson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Tuesday.
