Shawnee scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a hard 65-47 fall against the Kenton Wildcats. The Indians have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Shawnee's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamryn Morris, who posted eight points. Brynn Patterson was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kenton, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Shawnee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-26 loss against Allen East on the 7th. As for Kenton, they will venture away from home to challenge Ottawa-Glandorf at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Kenton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Ottawa-Glandorf likes a good challenge.
