The Robbinsville Ravens will venture away from home to face off against the Delran Bears at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Robbinsville will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Delran's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Robbinsville hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Ravens were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Princeton on Thursday. Considering the Ravens' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Lexi Lopez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles and one RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Tuleen Ali and Katie Murphy did most of the damage at the plate: Ali went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Murphy went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Murphy a new career-high. Caroline Kapferer also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Delran came up short against Northern Burlington on Thursday and fell 9-5. The Bears have struggled against the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Delran also got a good showing from Mary Masterson, who pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
At the plate, Elaina Faux made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Gemma DeJoseph was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Robbinsville pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Delran, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
