After flying high against Bryant last Thursday, Gulf Shores came back down to earth. The Gulf Shores Dolphins might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Milton Panthers an easy 61-39 win. The Dolphins' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Leading Milton to victory were Treymar Jones and Mateo Robinson. Jones went 9 of 22 en route to 23 points and three steals, while Robinson went 6 of 8 on his way to 13 points and four steals. Jones is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ra'Shaun Elzy, who posted eight points and three steals.

Gulf Shores' loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Milton, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Gulf Shores wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-45 defeat against Walton on the 21st. As for Milton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-48 win against Choctawhatchee on the 21st.
