The Cathedral Prep Ramblers won the last time they faced the General McLane Lancers, and things went their way on Friday too. Cathedral Prep came out on top against General McLane by a score of 60-50. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cathedral Prep.
Cathedral Prep can attribute much of their success to Amaree Pickens, who scored 13 points. Spencer Kanne was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Cathedral Prep's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8. As for General McLane, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cathedral Prep will take on Meadville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Meadville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for General McLane, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort LeBoeuf at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort LeBoeuf is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
