After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five games, Grandview finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 13-1 to the Park Hill South Panthers. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Grandview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Ransom, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-2. As for Park Hill South, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Grandview will square off against Park Hill at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Park Hill South, they are taking a road trip to take on Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
