 On the hitting side, Estrella Foothills got a  massive  performance out of  Jayson Ross, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Joey Strobel was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Goldwater now  has a losing record at 8-9. As for Estrella Foothills, their win was  their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 18-3.
 While Goldwater had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
