The Bishop Manogue Miners had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They breezed by Damonte Ranch at home to the tune of 42-6. The result was nothing new for Bishop Manogue, who have now won four contests by 29 points or more so far this season.
Bishop Manogue's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nathan Shannon led the charge by rushing for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Amir Mcgruder was another key contributor, rushing for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Bishop Manogue's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Damonte Ranch, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
