Cheatham County Central was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.
Patrick Kelly rushed for 96 yards on only nine carries. Brady Cason was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.
Lawrence County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tay Everly out in front who rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Bentley, who rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
Cheatham County Central has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Lawrence County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Cheatham County Central will head out on the road to face off against East Nashville Magnet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in East Nashville Magnet's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three contests. Lawrence County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
