Baseball Recap: Hatley Wins Going Away Against New Site

Hatley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against New Site, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers blew past the Royals 14-8 on Tuesday. Considering the Tigers have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hatley's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 10-13. As for New Site, they moved to 14-7 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hatley will square off against rival Walnut at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Site is set to take on their familiar foe Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
