Alex Cravens Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Sheridan got the W thanks in part to Alex Cravens playing the best football he has all season. Cravens rushed for 237 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the year, Cravens has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 87.1 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.29 rushing yards per game.

A Season-Best Performance from Joshua Hartley Leads Delphi Community over Sheridan
Delphi Community came up short on Friday despite Joshua Hartley delivering his best game to date. Word Came Up Big in Eastern's 28-6 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Braylen Word stepped things up a notch to give Eastern the 'W'. Nobody could stop Word as he picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made seven total tackles.
Word might have his next game, a home matchup with Sheridan, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Word saw the Blackhawks), he picked up 147 receiving yards, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

While Tri-Central might've come up empty on Friday, Jacob Cline wasn't going down without a fight. Cline was unstoppable, rushing for 57 yards and a touchdown.
Tri-Central is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Cline and Tri-Central will challenge Taylor at 6:55 p.m. on Friday.
