Last Thursday, Mountain Heritage took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 58-22 victory over West Henderson. 58 seems to be a good number for Mountain Heritage as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Mountain Heritage's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lilly Neill, who scored 12 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Vega Deyton, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Travelers Rest, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 41-25 loss to Powdersville last Friday.
Mountain Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Travelers Rest, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
