Newberry Academy lost against the Greenwood Christian Hawks last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Newberry Academy received a tough blow as they fell 43-29 to Greenwood Christian. Newberry Academy has not had much luck with Greenwood Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Greenwood Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Scott-Palacios out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds. TyKerian Kennedy was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Newberry Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Greenwood Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Newberry Academy will head out on the road to face off against Richard Winn Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenwood Christian, they will be playing at home against Dixie at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dixie is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
