Addison Trail can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Leyden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Blazers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Blazers were just returning the favor.

While Addison Trail won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21.

Addison Trail's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-11. As for Leyden, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Addison Trail and Leyden will both be playing Elmwood Park the next time they take the court. The Blazers will head out to face the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
