Alonso has gone 8-1 against Robinson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Alonso Ravens will host the Robinson Knights at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Alonso 2.8, Robinson 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Alonso took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Sumner by a score of 10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Ravens might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Alvin Santiago, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI and one run. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Johnny Rodriguez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Alonso hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Robinson didn't have quite enough to beat Steinbrenner on Tuesday and fell 5-3. The Knights have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.
Robinson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samuel Hyman, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Cason Cooper also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Alonso pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Robinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Alonso has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Robinson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Alonso's way against Robinson when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Alonso made off with a 10-2 victory. Does Alonso have another victory up their sleeve, or will Robinson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
