South Pointe had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Richland Northeast on Friday. The Stallions blew past the Cavaliers 5-1. The result was nothing new for South Pointe, who have now won five games by four goals or more so far this season.

Ava Passmore and Annsley Howle scored all five of South Pointe's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

South Pointe has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Richland Northeast, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-9.
