King's Fork won the last time they faced Western Branch and things went their way on Monday too. The King's Fork Bulldogs blew past the Western Branch Bruins 92-68. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Western Branch lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Markel Smith, who posted 19 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Camryn Clark, who had 19 points.

The win made it two in a row for King's Fork and bumps their season record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.5 points over those games. As for Western Branch, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9.

King's Fork wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 77-44 victory against Hickory on the 11th. As for Western Branch, they have also already played their next contest, a 64-53 loss against Nansemond River on the 11th.
