The Cornerstone Christian Cougars can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They breezed by California School for the Deaf at home to the tune of 92-49. The win was nothing new for Cornerstone Christian as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Cornerstone Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Benjamin Lukacs, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Shudhit Sooch, who scored 14 points.
Cornerstone Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for California School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
Cornerstone Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Marlins at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Making Waves Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 869th, while the Cougars are ranked 380th). California School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
