Hurricane received some extra help from Tanner Matua, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Highland had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Flyers 42-14. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Highland found their leader in freshman Vili Ripley, who rushed for 133 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, and also picked up 38 receiving yards and one score. Ripley really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run.
Hurricane's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Highland, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
