Oscar Hernandez was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Orlando Martinez, who scored 13 points.
Everglades' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Daunte Foster, Jr, who scored 11 points, and Roman Hughes who scored six points along with four steals. Brandon Johnson, Jr was another key contributor, scoring six points.
The victory got Doral Academy back to even at 11-11. As for Everglades, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.
Doral Academy will square off against Goleman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Goleman is coming into the contest with five straight losses on the road, meaning Doral Academy will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Everglades, they will take on McArthur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Everglades is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61 points per game this season.
