Basketball Recap: Arendell Parrott Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Liberty Christian Academy last Thursday, Arendell Parrott Academy came back down to earth. The Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots came up short against the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes on Tuesday, falling 49-29. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Arendell Parrott Academy's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-4. As for Cape Fear Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arendell Parrott Academy will face off against Bethel Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cape Fear Academy, they will take on John Paul II Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. John Paul II Catholic will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Cape Fear Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
