Winning is just a little bit easier when  you work as a team to  post nine more assists than your opponent, a fact the Westover Patriots proved  on Friday. Everything went their way against Central Fellowship Christian Academy as Westover made off with a  49-27 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  victory Westover has managed all season.
 It was another big night for  Jada Landers, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 15  rebounds. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which  she has scored at least 25% of Westover's points.  Wykieria Holmes was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with six  steals.
 Central Fellowship Christian Academy's loss  came despite strong showings from  Avery Queen and  Molly Gunningham.  Queen  scored five points, while  Gunningham  scored two points.
 Westover has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 10-6.
 Westover and Terrell County will face off  at 6:00  p.m.  on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Terrell County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.4  points per game. Central Fellowship Christian Academy and Pelham will face off  at 3:45  p.m.  on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Pelham focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
