This past Friday, the St. Helens Lions were out to avenge their 72-57 loss to the Parkrose Broncos from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. St. Helens was dealt a punishing 74-31 defeat at the hands of Parkrose. That's the fewest points the Lions have scored all year.
St. Helens' defeat pushed them down to 2-20. Parkrose's win brought them up to 14-8.
St. Helens will stay at home against Hillsboro on Tuesday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup. Parkrose will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Putnam. Like Parkrose, Putnam is also coming into the game bolstered by a recent victory.
