There's no place like home for Marengo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Johnsburg Skyhawks on Wednesday. Considering the Indians have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Marengo pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Johnsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Marengo and Johnsburg will both be playing Plano the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Reapers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Skyhawks will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
