Brewer was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from ninth to fourth in B Pine Tree. The Witches vanquished Nokomis 50-21 earlier in the week.
Mt. Blue extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Oceanside, 42-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Cougars.
Mt. Blue's dynamic duo of Jodran Whitney and Cam Abbott proved tough for the Mariners to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Whitney threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns and Abbott had 70 yards receiving. Chad Luker helped Mt. Blue's passing attack out by catching two balls for 60 yards.
Logan  Steward was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 158 yards on 19 carries as Hampden topped Oceanside. Matt Martin also contributed to the rushing game with 61 yards on the ground.
The Cougars' Whitney and Abbott have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading B Pine Tree in both passing and receiving yards. Whitney has thrown for 839 yards this season, while Abbott, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 24 catches for 359 yards. Noah Kershner from the Warriors leads the league in rushing with 571 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Leavitt and Mt. Blue. The Hornets comes into the matchup ranked fourth in the state, while the Cougars ranks 12th.
The Broncos made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,170 from 6,485. The improvement was the result of 19-13 victory over Gardiner last week.
