Despite the loss, Sharon Springs Central still got an impressive performance from Lilly Tessier, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tessier has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zarie Fassett, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Sharon Springs Central bumped their record down to 3-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.8 points per game. As for Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
