King Abdullah Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They were dealt  a  62-8 loss at the hands of the Wakefield School Fighting Owls . The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the  70-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in November of 2023.
 Wakefield School was led to victory by  Andie Mason and  Ceci Turner.  Mason  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and 14  rebounds, while  Turner  went 8 for 17 en route to 17 points plus eight  steals and six  rebounds. Turner has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  steals the last 22 times she's  played.  Addison Smith was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on ten points and nine  rebounds.
 Wakefield School's win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 2-0.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King Abdullah Academy will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Quantico at 4:00  p.m.  on December 17th. As for Wakefield School, they will challenge Highland at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
