You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Frankenmuth's strategy against Alma on Friday. Everything went the Frankenmuth Eagles' way against the Alma Panthers as the Frankenmuth Eagles made off with a 67-43 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frankenmuth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Sommerfield, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine assists. Sommerfield is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 53% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Mcniel, who went 6-for-8 en route to 14 points and five rebounds.

Frankenmuth smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Frankenmuth has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Alma, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frankenmuth will face off against Genesee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Alma, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
