Oberlin's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Korrie Freeman, who scored 9 points. Carmello Williams was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Oberlin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wellington, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oberlin will square off against Firelands at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wellington won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lake Ridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 9th.
