As for South Pike, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, it beat Lanier 29 - 22 last week. One major factor in the win was the play of junior true, who ran for 96 yards and also punched in one touchdown. This sound performance was nothing new for Amos, who has been a rock for South Pike in the past six games. Additional support came from senior Kedarrius Shields, a defensive powerhouse who racked up 13 tackles.
