The Clearfield Falcons will head out on the road to  take on  the Bountiful RedHawks at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday.
 Clearfield is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12  runs  on Thursday, they were much more limited against Viewmont  on Friday. Their  rough  10-2 loss to the Vikings  might stick with them for a while. Clearfield has not had much luck with Viewmont recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Clearfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Hudson Meyer, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  stolen base.
 Meanwhile, Bountiful entered their tilt with Northridge with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp  10-4 win on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Bountiful considering their two-run performance the  matchup before.
  Ben Neuenswander spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned  (and two unearned) runs on nine hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  TJ Dahlke was a standout: he went 3-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jefferson Duryea, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Clearfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Bountiful, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
 Clearfield took their  win against Bountiful  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2017 by a conclusive  8-2. Does  Clearfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bountiful turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
