Larkin Krieg was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Presley Walker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February of 2024. Savannah Mekelburg also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
