Williamsville has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on Quincy Notre Dame in each of the teams' fourth playoff game on Saturday. Averaging 52.67 points per contest, the Williamsville squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully Quincy Notre Dame's defense is prepared for a test.
If there were any doubts about the heavy odds in favor of Williamsville coming into their matchup against Vandalia last week, the squad laid those doubts to rest. The Bullets took their game against Vandalia by a conclusive 56-28 score. Conor Mccormick had a stellar game for Williamsville as he rushed for 159 yards and two TDs on 22 carries. Mccormick has been a guy to keep an eye on this season; he's played big for Williamsville in each of their last 12 games.
Williamsville's defense was a presence as well, and it made life painful for the quarterback and got past Vandalia's offensive line for a total of four sacks. It was a group effort with six picking up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Quincy Notre Dame earned some more postseason success in their contest last week. They squeaked by Mater Dei by less than a field goal, winning 21-19.
With both teams having displayed their playoff mettle, spectators can expect a high-quality contest. Watch the contest and check back on MaxPreps.com for all the details.
