The Cinco Ranch Cougars will face off against the Tompkins Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Tompkins will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Cinco Ranch extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Cougars enjoyed a cozy 41-27 victory over Paetow. The Cougars pushed the score to 41-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.

Cinco Ranch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacob Chevez led the charge by picking up 153 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Those 153 receiving yards gave Chevez a new career-high. Another signal caller making a difference was Davis Roup, who threw for 199 yards and four TDs.
Cinco Ranch was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 96.8 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 185.
Cinco Ranch didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jacob Forinash and Maverick McConnell. Forinash is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least eight every time he's taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tompkins). They really took it to Morton Ranch for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-2 win. The Falcons have beaten the Mavericks the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mavericks has come to flipping the script.
Cinco Ranch better keep an eye on Ethan Meadows. He was instrumental in Tompkins' win, rushing for 208 yards and five scores while picking up 12.2 yards per carry. Thanks to that big game, Meadows is now up to 11 rushing touchdowns on the season. Jp Vaclavik was another key player, throwing for 158 yards and one touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes.
Cinco Ranch now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Tompkins, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
