This season hasn't been kind to the Pine Prairie Panthers, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. They fell 56-46 to Westminster Christian Academy on Tuesday. Pine Prairie lost against Westminster Christian Academy in their previous head to head two weeks ago, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 50-38 score last time.
Westminster Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyler Spraggins led the charge by scoring 23 points. Zade Prejean was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Pine Prairie bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.4 points per game. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Pine Prairie is on the road again on Thursday and play against Vinton at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. Westminster Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Northside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
