Baseball Game Preview: Scotland Christian Academy Saints vs. Living Water Christian Warriors

The Scotland Christian Academy Saints will head out on the road to square off against the Living Water Christian Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scotland Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Last Thursday, Scotland Christian Academy earned a 4-1 victory over Tabernacle Christian. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

Scotland Christian Academy let Holden Hughes and Randy Cummings run wild. Hughes got on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, while Cummings went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kadin Mintar, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Living Water Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 19-6 to Southside Christian.

Living Water Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Bass, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Scotland Christian Academy pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Living Water Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Scotland Christian Academy took their win against Living Water Christian in their previous meeting last Friday by a conclusive 17-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
