The East Feliciana Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Northeast by a score of 62-53. That's another feather in the cap for East Feliciana, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Northeast's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brian Duncan, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That was a full 37.7% of Northeast's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Derrick Cavalier, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
The win got East Feliciana back to even at 5-5. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.
East Feliciana's road trip will continue as they head out to face Livonia at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Northeast, they will play host again and welcome Slaughter Community Charter, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
