Timberlake Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Christian Heritage Academy Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
While it was all tied up 20-20 at halftime, Timberlake Christian was not quite Temple Christian's equal in the second half on Monday. Timberlake Christian took a 71-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of Temple Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the defeat, Timberlake Christian got a solid performance out of Sawyer Epps, who scored 27 points. The matchup was Epps' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Warrick, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Christian Heritage Academy suffered a tough 71-50 loss at the hands of Roanoke Valley Christian on Thursday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Christian Heritage Academy in their matchups with Roanoke Valley Christian: they've now lost four in a row.

Timberlake Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Christian Heritage Academy when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 48-42 victory.
