Several Monarchs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaleb James, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. The matchup was James' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of D'Marion Tomlinson, who scored 10 points.
New Life Christian Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for NC GBB Academy National, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
New Life Christian Academy is on the road again on Saturday and play against Central Carolina Prep at 2:00 p.m. on December 9th. Central Carolina Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 231st, while New Life Christian Academy is ranked 106th). As for NC GBB Academy National, they will head out on the road to face off against Word of God Christian Academy National at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
