The Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces will head out on the road to square off against the Lake View Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Ida Crown Jewish Academy pushed their score all the way to 59 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Latin 65-59. Ida Crown Jewish Academy has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Meanwhile, Lake View unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 78-53 walloping at the hands of Westinghouse. While losing is never fun, Lake View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Warriors are ranked 108th).
Despite the defeat, Lake View got a solid performance out of Ayden Reed, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reed has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dyami Rolon, who scored four points.
Ida Crown Jewish Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Lake View, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.
