Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Columbus Christian). They were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over the Tindley Tigers on Thursday. The  win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.
 Canon Carr was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Jaxxon Games was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Columbus Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Columbus Christian's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Tindley,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-9.
 Looking ahead, Columbus Christian will be playing at home against Crothersville  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Tindley, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Purdue Broad Ripple  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
