After four games on the road, Poly is heading back home. They will take on The Franklin Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
After soaring to 32 points the game before, Poly were a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 44-6 loss at the hands of City College. Poly was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-0.
Franklin fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They secured a 16-12 W over Woodlawn on Friday.
Franklin can attribute much of their success to Elijah Mathis, who picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Devin Rollins, who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown.
City College's win bumped their season record to 5-4 while Poly's defeat dropped theirs to 3-6.
